Website design

Small business website design that earns the visit.

Someone found you on their phone and gave you about four seconds. The site has to say what you do, prove you're real, and make the next step obvious before they lose interest.

Built around how the decision actually gets made

  • The next step, on every screenCall, book, get directions, order. Whatever your one action is, it stays reachable without scrolling or hunting through a menu.
  • Fast on a phone with poor signalNo page-builder bloat, no theme carrying forty features you don't use. Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor at the same time.
  • Proof that you're worth the tripReal photographs of the place and the people, reviews shown in context, hours and location that are correct everywhere. Stock imagery reads as a business that might not exist.
  • Location structure from day oneThe page architecture is laid out for the areas you serve before a word is written, so local SEO isn't retrofitted later at three times the cost.
  • A brand look that holds togetherOne type system, one palette, one photographic style — across the site, the Business Profile and anything printed. Consistency is most of what makes a small business look established.
  • Tracking wired in at launchCalls, form completions, direction requests and bookings all measured from week one, so attribution works before you need it.

You see it live before you pay

Not a mockup. Not a slide deck. The working site on a real URL.

Most agencies want a deposit against a PDF. We build the whole thing on a staging address, send you the link, and let you use it the way your customers will — on your phone, at the counter, showing your staff.

If it isn't right, you tell us and we change it. If you don't want it, you walk away and it costs you nothing. We take payment when there's something you'd put your name on.

It is a slower way to sell. It also means we only take on builds we're confident about, which is rather the point.

What maintenance covers

10% of your setup cost per month. It keeps the site healthy and current — it is not a growth programme, and we would rather say so than let you expect rankings from it.

Included every month

Up to 3 content or design updates, hosting and SSL, security patching, uptime monitoring, backups, broken link checks, and a monthly indexing check so nothing quietly drops out of search.

Not included

New pages beyond your update allowance, ongoing content production, active local SEO campaigns, or conversion work. Those are separate because they take real ongoing effort, and pricing them as maintenance would mean doing them badly.

Maintenance is month to month and optional. Decline it and the site is still entirely yours — you just take on the updates and the hosting yourself.

If you want to actively grow rather than hold position, add content writing or conversion work on top.

Questions

How long does a build take?

Two to three weeks for Starter, three to five for Growth. The variable is almost always how fast we get your photos, copy details and location information — the build itself moves quickly.

Do I own the site?

Yes. Code, domain, hosting account, analytics. If you leave, it all transfers to you. We don't hold a website hostage to keep a retainer.

Do you write the content?

Yes, included in every package. We interview you for an hour, then write it. Nothing goes live until you've reviewed it.

What about hosting?

Hosted on a global edge network, included for the first year and typically under $10 a month after. We'll set it up in your own account if you'd rather hold the keys from the start.

Can you improve my existing site instead of rebuilding?

Sometimes. If the platform is reasonable and the structure is sound, rebuilding the key pages costs less than starting over. The audit will tell us which situation you're in before you commit to anything.

Do you work with businesses outside the US?

Our focus is US local businesses, because local search behaviour, review platforms and buyer expectations differ enough by country that spreading thin makes us worse at all of it.
